The Mandarina.....
Please welcome the newest addition to our family, The Mandarina. After repeated requests by our valued customers we decided to take on the task of trying to find a gold alloy that could come close to the sound of the Silkworms but for a fraction of the cost. This was no easy task, but after going through mix after mix we have managed to come up with a combination that meets our satisfaction.

Build....
Using trickle down technology from it's bigger brother, the Silkworm, the Mandarina is able to give our valued customers some of those wonderful traits of gold cables without the high price of pure gold cables. In trying to keep costs down we have made a few changes such as using cotton instead of silk and Copper Bullets* as standard rather than Silver Bullets, and a "not so fancy" type of tech flex rather than the expensive stuff. But please, don't take this as a drop in quality or performance. Mandarinas are still built with great care, one at a time by hand. Using 24 a.w.g gold alloy wire, oversized virgin teflon wrapped in chemical free 100% cotton, WBT Silver Solder, the quality is all there!

Interesting....
Mandarina..... This name comes from the nearest relative of the Silkworm, the Wild Silkmoth or Bombyx Mandarina. This insect is from the moth family Bombycidae. It is the closest relative of Bombyx mori the domesticated Silkmoth or "silkworm". So, now you know where we got the name for this cable. (See note at bottom of page).

Sound....
For a fraction of the cost of the Silkworms you can still have that wonderful gold sound so craved by many. The characteristics of this baby are probably a good 70% of the Silkworm but for only 33% of their price! The Mandarinas present a nice open and airy sound that just breathes life into your music. You will notice right off the bat that they have that "gold sound" a nice big sound stage with an expansion on depth and width. As with most gold cables the human voice and acoustics are just wonderful. Very smooth and warm, these cables have fantastic Pace, Rythum and Timing(PRAT), they just get it right.

Warranty....
These cables come with a five year manufacturers defect warranty and a thirty(30) day money back guarantee. If they break, let us know and we'll fix em and send em back to you. If you don't like the sound of them, send them back in the same condition in which you received them(within 30 days of purchase date)and we will refund your money.
